"The Institute for Bible Translation (IBT) is pleased to allow authors and publishers to quote and/or reprint up to three hundred (300) verses of any Bible publication text without express written permission, providing the verses quoted do not amount to more than 30% of a complete book of the Bible nor do the verses quoted comprise more than 30% of the text of a work in which they are quoted. Authors and publishers are obliged to consult IBT regarding which text version to be used.
Notice of copyright must appear on the title or copyright page of the work as follows: ”Scripture quotation taken from the publication of the Institute for Bible Translation, Russia/CIS. State the appropriate year which can be found in the respective IBT Bible publication.
Three (3) copies of each such publication must be sent to Institute for Bible Translation, P.O. Box 360, 101000 Moscow, Russia.
When quotations from the Bible publication translation are used on the Internet and in non-saleable publications, such as church bulletins, orders of service, posters, transparencies or similar media, a complete copyright notice is not required but the initials (IBT) must appear at the end of each quotation.
Quotations and/or reprints in excess of three hundred (300) verses, or other permission requests, must be directed to and approved in writing by the Institute for Bible Translation."
