I so tired of all the Phil whiners. Typically, from conversations at shows, it seems to me that are you whiners are just kids anyway. Mindbender, you're right on! Phil is one of few who sings from his soul, with passion, not just going thru the motions like trey or panic or any one of the other so called....... Phil - the heads love you and always will! Sing every song I'll enjoy every note!!
I remember, it takes a while to learn how to respect the true pioneers and leaders.

Everyone that says Phil shouldn't sing needs to shut the hell up. How could Phil singing ruin an entire show??? Ignorant people. He clearly enjoys singing, and after all the stuff he's been through, give him a break. I happen to like his voice. All I downloaded from this show was Lazy River Road, since it is one of my favorite later day dead songs. SBD would have been nice.

Much as I love his bass playing, he sucked the energy out of this show. Sort of like he did last year on Dead tour whenever he sang.

Am I the only one who feels Phil's vocals just ruin a show? Avg. RRE show at best. I was really loooking forward to hearing the show, but was very disappointed. Phil can still drop the bombs, but was never a singer.

This was the pre-show for Phil's Mardi Gras show. Great dinner. Great Vibe. And wounderful playing by the boys and Phil Lesh. Before Phil took the stage he was standing at the side smiling and dancing.
I have to say I enjoyed Phil playing with RRE more than RRE playing with PLF later that night.
