Subject: aint' it sweet
perfect recording and this guy definetely threw together a stellar setlist. Railroad has some certain songs that really can touch you in a special way and this show certainly has a lot of that.

Subject: Wow!
From the pictures (thanks Kyrion) this looks like a blast. Good friends and family around, your girl agrees to marry you, and Railroad Earth casually lay down a phat set on the church stage.
The sound of this recording is outstanding. Really can't get any better. Crisp, warm tones, clear separation of instruments and voice with a sprinkling of crowd noise really capture what I imagine the church sounded like that day, maybe even better.
And what a great set of tunes, old and new RRE favorites mixed in with Neil Young and Grateful Dead, all sweetly played. This has become one of my favorite RRE downloads.
Thanks everyone involved and best wishes on a happy marriage.

Subject: Oh and it's a Matrix (SBD)
Somewhere the fact that this is a crispty, crunchy RRE SBD matrix get lost in all this fluff.
Congrats J & E! : )

Subject: But can they play Hava Nagila at Bar Mitzvahs?
These people were so lucky to get RRE to play their private party! RRE played a selection of Dead tunes I haven't heard in a dog's age. Bravo to the band. I wish the couple a lifetime of happiness!!!
Download this performance and enjoy! I did,

Subject: What a day!
This actually wasn't a wedding, but rather a surprise party that Jimmy threw for his fiancee. That's probably one of the most romantic things someone could do for their future wife. She gave a speech at the end thanking everyone and said that Jimmy just proposed to her so he could get RRE to come play so he could write the entire setlist the way HE wanted it. She said I still love him and am going to marry him anyway. They were are a perfect couple and I wish them the best in life together. This was a great show, with great people, and I was lucky enough and honored to be there. Definately worth a download. The sound is great and the band was really on.
