Probably one of the best RRFB shows out there.

This was my Birthday Weekend any my buddy drove all the way up from South Carolina. We made a sign that said Robert my Buddy drove all the way from SC. Let him play on stage. He is the fan on she waits.

Some of the funkiest bass playing Daniel has ever done. This show really took it to a new level.

Sound quality great

I was at this show. It was fantastic!! However, after decoding the flac files, I was unable to burn all of the tracks to CD. Tracks 4-7 on disk 1 and tracks 1, 2, 3, 6, and 7 could not be copied to RealPlayer for CD burning, with blank CD inserted. RP gave me a message saying "Files Do Not Exist," even though they were clearly there and could be played!!! Does anyone have any explanation for this?

I'm not sure why I waited so long to post a review of this show, but I will have to say this is one of the best non-festival performances I have seen of any act. It was a little rough finding this place at first, with a road closed off, but once my friends and I arrived, I knew I would be in for a treat.

For those that don't know this venue, the cars are parked on a grassy field and the stage is placed at the bottom of hill, like mother nature had always wanted this to be a place of performance. We had only brought chairs and a cooler for a few drinks, but everyone was out and about with their dogs, whole families with tables eating dinner and socializing with everyone else. There was plenty of room and mostly everywhere you went there was great sound.

The best part of this show would have to be the lengthy playlist, which not only featured the band in the sunshine, but also the sunset and well into the nighttime. This gave the set added dynamics, as the crowd moved closer to the stage after every song and the band fueled itself on the crowd's energy.

My favorite songs of the set would have to be the soul refreshing > she waits. She Waits grows on me every time i listen to it, each time with a new flavor and added guests which bring a whole new interpretation of the Jam (side note: check out the 2-22-05 Kentucky show for an awesome version '13.51') Also, 'Nobody' always gives me a 20 minute smile and Roll Up never disapoints.

Overall, this recording does a great job capturing everything, and the pictures are great too that the taper took.(muchas gracias since i forgot my camera) My only complaint is that they didn't play Press On, and my everlasting hope that they will revive "I Get Joy", and that they couldn't stretch to a 3 hour set....but theres always bonnaroo....also, I love his guitar playing, but Robert has an amazing voice and leaves me wanting more of him singing. Him and his brother also do a good job of switching instruments.

6 stars since the venue was perfect for the band and I want them to play there next summer. Definitely worth the 3.5 hours from Baltimore and the midnight stopping at Denny's.

Absolutely one of the best RR&TFB shows I'd ever seen! Right up there with 2-21-04 at the Phantasy Theater in Lakewood, OH. I got a bunch of photos from the front row posted at my gallery:

I came all the way from Buffalo, NY to see this show with my buddy Jay and it was totally worth the drive. This wasn't even a show... it was an experience. People just dancing and having a good time as far as the eye could see. We made our way up to about three or four rows from the stage and it was amazing to watch Robert from that close.

This show kicked some serious tail. I was there, three rows from the stage. The show was unbelievable, and I highly recommend it

Notes

Notes: There is a prominent reverb effect on Robert's vocals. This appears to be due to the house mix and not the tape.
