Manchester might suck - but Ryan's performance at Manchester Academy is a wonderful recording. The sound level and quality of this show are great. Really well worth getting this one.
Check out the Higher Ground show as well - that's another nice one from this set. Can't wait to hear a copy of Sommerville - great setlist there for sure.

it was an incredible show, and the recording is just beautiful (the kingston one was a very popular download, and this one is an even better recording, and a great show too, so if you liked that one this one is WELL worth a listen).
i'm biased because i was there, but this has definitely been one of the best from the "blue cave" type of shows we've been seeing from the band on the Easy Tiger tour lately.
the band and audience all seemed very happy to be there and the atmosphere was brilliant.
listening to monsters feels like a space ship taking off. great job mr. "flameout" graboff!

listening to Kingston on here this set really wasn't much different. I hope Ryan didn't sell out and stop taking chances on stage.

Smooth introduction to Easy Tiger from a tight rock n roll band. Quality taping with great laid back sound.

My second favourite Ryan download already. Not as dynamic as Das Haus but great CD quality recording - congrats to the taper.

Very nice. I'm really liking the mellowness of these shows. It's a nice contrast to the heavy rockin' sound that they broke out for several shows in the Fall. Less jammed out than the Fall shows as well, but, as others have mentioned, Ryan and the guys are singing great. The songs and the versatility of the Cardinals are really showcased here. Honestly, these guys just keep getting better.
What's with the super short shows thus far though? This recording clocks in at a meager 82 minutes. It's a very high quality 82 minutes, but damn, that's one short show, eh?

This is by far the best sounding of the four European 2007 dates to promote release of Ryan's latest, Easy Tiger.
Great show with "Slider" Graboff on great form on the pedal steel guitar...great harmonies throughout!! Enjoy....;-)
