Subject: great show

this is a great '07 show....very srtong setlist and full of good enegy and banter. the sound quality is good, but not as good as say the sommerville show...if I could give it a 4 1/2 I would based soley on the recoding being just shy of perfectly clear. (and for the guy who only gave this 4 stars based on OTHER poeple comparing the cards to the dead.....c'mon dude, seriously. dont rate a show on other people comments. besides, these guys dont sound anything like the dead, but what an honor to be compared to the them.)

Subject: Into the ocean

This set is absolutely incredible, great setlist, amazing performance, amusing banter.
The encore of Nightbirds is the best version i've heard so far. Simply astounding. This is a must-have.

ryan adams is, well, great. so is this show. that being said, enough with the references to the gd. different deal entirely. equally spiritual in their own sense.

I love this show, this version of "This Is It" is just superb, I love that "Rock n Roll" album as much as the rest of them. Great setlist!

Subject: Simply Superb

Okay...I have been lurking on LMA for the last couple of months listening to these exceptional Ryan/Cardinals shows. I have been listening to live recorded music for more than 25 years (still have a few Maxell's to prove it) and this run of shows is as good as any I have ever listened too. It rivals some of the best runs of the Dead in 69, 72, 76, 77, 82 and 85. Ryan and The Cardinals are on to something extremely special - thanks to him, the band and the folks out on the road making these extraordinary recordings and sharing them with the rest of us.

Subject: Best of Blue Cave

I'm really quite new to RA....but I've steeped myself in his music over the past several months and this show is special...The sound quality is excellent and the performance is shall we say locked fuc*in in! Saw Santa Cruz and Berkeley (electric) and both were smokin' but I yearn for an acoustic show...

It's great to hear someone (letalone someone I enjoy listening to) growing musically in a direction unexpected. These shows are going to put lil' Ryan in the stratosphere of rock. And it's ACOUSTIC fer Gawd's sake! I've blared this show and had my neighbors come and ask who it was. "Say, that's nice! He's Come a long way since 'Cut's Like A Knife"!" Yeah!!

Subject: Best Show of 2007!

This is hands down the best show of 2007. It seems like every night gets tighter & tighter and more streched out. The level of expirementation between these recent shows and the ones where Ryan just sang is like night & day. The only comparisons that I can draw for these shows would have to be the acoustic sets of the Grateful Dead in 1980 and this is saying a great deal. I could not more highly recomend any show from this year!
