Ryan Adams new lp is not heavy metal. It is an acoustic album .It is called Ashes and Fire

Nice!
Sound quality starts off rough, as does the playing & singing, but it develops nicely until it's perfect. Great show, a little rougher edged than 10/17/06. I hear his new album is heavy metal? Maybe he just got gradually more that way.

Great Show, Great Recording!
The fellow that recorded this was right next to me in the front row. The crew had mixing board issues through the first couple of songs, but after that, the sound was incredible. At intermission, we turned one of the stage monitors toward the mic boom, so recording quality went from superb to unreal for the second set & encores.
Funnies:
At 4:15 of Beautiful Sorta, you can (faintly) hear some sorority girl about 10 rows back yell "Ryan, I freaking love you!", then my wife (3 ft. from the mic; 10 ft. from Ryan) say, "Oh, my gosh!", then Ryan mocking her reaction.
You can also hear intermittent nonsensical outbursts (e.g., "Can we dance to your music?!" at 9:45 of I See Monsters) from some crazy older woman who was eventually escorted out. No alcohol was served at the venue (a smallish opera house on the SMU campus), so most folks there were true fans and were keenly aware of Ryan's historical "sensitivity" to crowd comments. When the crazy lady would pipe up, you could actually see people cringe in fear that he would storm off the stage and call it a night. He took it all pretty well, though, and even seemed to poke fun throughout the night at his own checkered past in dealing with crowds. No one can say if the days of him pitching fits are over for good, but on this particular night, he was definitely on top of his game. Great show!

An Enjoyable Rockin' Evening With Ryan and The Cardinals!!!
Me and my son drove in from Houston to catch this show. It was a fun, well played show. Ryan was on top of his game this night in every aspect. The crowd had a blast interacting with the band. Thanks to whomever taped this show. Of the three shows I have seen on the current tour(Austin, Houston and Dallas), this was the best.

An Amazing Show
Ryan and the boys were definitely on fire in Dallas! Excellent sound quality on this audience recording.
