this sounds as brilliant as it was live- i was there that night and i thought it was pretty incredible and have seen ryan & cardinals 8 times now. band are tight, their interplay is wonderful and just so intuitive and listening back to this makes my spirit soar, even a bit emotional but above all just happy to be alive! these tapes from Europe leg are amazing quality and many thanks to ryan adams archive- you guys rock!!

Subject: I See Monsters
The whole is great, really. Everybody Knows is always welcome. The new songs continue to grow. Back into more absolute gems with Goodnight Rose and Off Broadway(!).

Cold Roses through I See Monsters is sick-o, with the last song being extra trippy on the vocals, if you wear headphones...

Very nice.

Subject: "Colors inside your head go spinning around..like a ferris wheel"
This show is a masterpiece and demostrates how intense this band is right now. The new songs sound great and the older ones are played with intensity and passion. I See Monsters will blow your mind. Maybe the best show of the year too.

Subject: This was the show I missed
Tickets sold so fast on the day of issue I missed out,went to see them in Manchester on Monday 10th - great show also but listening to this one it sounds like the best ever! In Manchester the set list was similar except that Ryan seemed to have had a hissy fit due to idiots in the crowd yelling for favourites and he did not come out for the encore.
