This is the San Pablo City Public Market and Shopping Mall. As far as I know it's unique in that the public market is specifically designed to be on the ground floor while above is a shopping mall.
This was taken on the morning of December 23, 2006 during a day of wildly alternating weather between sunny and drizzly.
In the first section, a van parks right in front of the camera and the driver calls on the security guard of the BIGGS restaurant behind me, preserving his order of spaghetti with chicken for all time.
The woman at the end of the second segment who goes out of frame, approached me as I turned off the camera to ask me what it was for. I said "It's for the Internet".
And yes, that is a McDonald's restaurant in the first segment. You can see people heading towards it in the fourth segment. Directly opposite the McDonald's is the local version, Jollibee.
The last segment is the longest, taken at the very heart of the public market.
