Subject: Great glimpse of the early days
This is a great show to get a glimpse of how the band evolved, and includes several rare gems. Sound quality is excellent, aside from a small amount of hiss from the analog generation. The setlist features a large number of songs that are no longer in the rotation.
Poor Heart is humorously introduced as "an old bluegrass song from the 1920s." Along with the YEM-style vocal jam in Late in the Evening, this is a reminder of the role of Phish as a band influence.
Pockets full of Money is introduced as their "Terrapin Station". I wonder what happened to this tune, sung by Kang and played only once, according to the Cheesebase. Excellent acoustic interplay makes this worth a listen.
