Very apt show. I injested and all way well. I guess I was my own personal rocket man at that show. Good stuff.
Hope to see the band again during a possible summer tour. So far 6-24-06 was my personal favorite of shows. Kicked down some gold dust amplification. No lead though.

While there are noticable instances of the band members being "off" with each other (most notably "IIWII," "Bumpin' Reel," and "Rollover" [the beginning and the reprise]), I guaruntee this show was an absolute blast. It sounded like it started off with a huge bang with an extremely energetic "Can't Stop Now" and then a very melodic "These Waves," but towards the end I believe they were just worn out, which is expected from a band that gives its fans everything every night.

Man that show was a great time. One thing to Point out to everyone is that the track labeled "Dub Jam" is the Bassnectar Feat> Michael Kang track "Dabuasca" for Diverse Systems of Throb

Hello!
First off thank you, to the tapers who sat still long enough to record these shows. I'm way too all over the place to keep track of such equipment.
Second off, this was an AMAZING night! My first time on the west coast was memorable, to say the least. I was somehow able to get a spot in the countdown parade. I was 1 of 8 "Bslloon Aleins" who danced on the Dream Tree platform to the Star Trek/Final Frontier jam, where the four trees held all our dreams. I got my way in and the commemorative poster as payment for dancing in the coolest costume ever(I was the Alien with the little guns, and the big mouth with bunches of teeth). Peak Production went all out this year on the festivities(with the help of Burning Man)...The XOX Burlesque girls were amazing. and Bassnecter threw down like no other that night. Big ups, props, and much love to everyone there, thank you to everyone for being there, and being alive!
Peace, Love, and PLEASE.....don't forget to Smile,
T-Rav

I am sad this will probably be my last SCI show. But what a way to go out! Awesome night. Great scene and the boys were on fire! I have been waiting for this show to post - I really appreciate the taping community allowing me to relive these moments.

Interestling enough I just checked back here to see that recordings of both nights had been uploaded. How amazing is that? I'll be downloading this night very soon, and will enjoy listening to the AUD and which has seemingly captured what the SBD's sometimes are not quite able to.
Thanks Much!

From Cant Stop Now to the Rollover reprise, they sounded so good! The audience was full of energy the whole time, and the cheese went all out with the concert decorations and parades and festivities. it was a great night and from what i have heard from the recording so far, its a great recording too. Havent listened to it yet but one of my best memories of that night was the Close your eyes > Rocket Man > Close Your eyes - that jam after Rocket man was just sick. Also, the short set that was the encore was sweet and is a must hear. Definately worth a download and a listen. thanks so much for posting

The 2nd of two excellent recordings of superb SCI and a must download NOW! Numerous first time played gems, like Herbie Hancock's "Rockit" in the middle of "iBam!," and Elton's "Rocket Man" done soulfully by Kyle. Great crowd moments of enthusiastic joy bubbles going off, like at the beginning of "Rocket Man," and when they sing "James Brown's Teahouse!" The Star Trek theme is pure insanity & Travis nails the "Ziggy Stardust," prompting Kang to utter “Wow… that might not happen again!”
This show will age like a fine Aurichio Provolone. Bam! Take it up another notch!

Hi All,
You can see from the lineage, this show was done in FLAC, not mp3. We are serious tapers, and NEVER convert to mp3. We are still researching the problem, but as far as we can tell, we uploaded in FLAC and the archive converted to mp3???
We are also hearing gaps between songs online, and have had a couple people download it and report the same. Please confirm or deny small gaps between tracks when you listen online or after download.
Once we figure out what happened we'll reup the show.
Thanks.
