Subject: Woohoo..!
Yes, this day was brilliant. Download this, it's an incredible show and an awesome source. Check out Varady's MBHO source too, might even be better, if not only equal! I like them both more than the sbd!

YEM2004... was I the college roommate from UCSB you ran into? I ran into some peeps at this show (as is usual) and it was one of those weird instances where we're chatting away calling each other dude, and man, and I think we got a funny look from someone probably thinking these guys don't quite remember each other, then with a hug we parted ways calling each other by name...
perhaps that was somebody else with whom I shared that moment, I was trippin a bit.
The Rider > Stir it Up > Rider was phenomenal and had another moment for me. Wandering around all day (not aimlessly, but with purpose) with my buddy, we found ourselves at the top of the lawn at that point, and then I found myself dancing on top of a round stone table, turning in circles with pleasure. My friend and I decided to call another friend so we could share this with him, so suddenly I was the guy on the phone at a concert. Got at least one strange look for being on the phone, but then the look turned to understanding and laughter when it was noticed that I was still dancing smiling listening to the music and only sharing it with a friend who couldn't be there. I wasn't avoiding any part of the show or turning my attention toward my phone, just inviting him into the atmosphere, dancing around holding the phone up, passing it between friends. Good times!

Highlights include Love is Like a Train, Sometimes a River, I Know You Rider, Desert Dawn!, Best Feeling>Way back Home...

There was a blown speaker that occasionaly distracted, though only a minor annoyance, and the boys didn't miss a beat playing on through til the end. What's with the horn blowing from the hills between tracks?! The freaks musthave been coming out of the woods for this one, gathering in the hills around the venue. The energy for this one certainly couldn't be contained by the open-air Greek ~ what beauty!

Subject: The Greek never Disappoints
Only my second chance to ever see SCI live, but I had a good feeling it would be a great show. I've seen 3 other shows at The Greek and always a good show. This was no exception. It was a beautiful East Bay day, plenty warm throughout the night. Great crowd and overall scene. I even ran into an old roommate from college!

Very solid start. 2nd song in w/ "I Wish" got pretty much everyone dancing. I was super stoked to hear the MLT come out of nowhere and thoroughly enjoyed the jam that ensued. At one point my brother wanted to go get a quick bite, but on our way down I heard I Know You rider coming out of nowhere and had to go check it out. And sure enough, i was right! The Whole I Know you Rider > Stir It Up > I Know You Rider segment was an amazing way to close out the first set.

Second set saw a few audio glitches, but nothing to mess up the magic that was SCI at The Greek! The end of the second was just non stop jamming. Gotta say i love the way they sandwitched Way Back Home >
Birdland > Best Feeling > Way Back Home. Search felt like a very fitting encore for myself. It was the first song they played at my first show back in 2004 at the Warfield.

This was my 2nd and Last SCI show (Unless they reunite later down the line). You will be missed guys! Thank you for an amazing evening!!!

Subject: The Greek Rocked!
Absolutely amazing show! The most beautiful afternoon/evening in the East Bay, the people were all groovin', and The Cheese...well what can one say about them that hasn't already been said. The tribute to The Dead and Jerry was truly spiritual moment for those of us who still need to hear their music. The sets were fantastic and this recording is unbelievable! My little neice and newphew are dancin' as I write this!

...and this has to be one of the three best ever. The energy, venue, music, and of course the kind peeps made this a beautiful incident for me. Such a good time!!!!!

Subject: Great Last Show from a Great Ensemble of Musicians
This show was a blast. The sun was shining and the place was packed with a bunch of kind heads. My first Cheese show was at a Frat party at Washington State University in 1997 and they have come a long way.

A very solid first set. The Mouna Bowa opener was a great way to get everyone grooving to the sun and in the Greek, then onto a little Stevie courtesy of Kang. The Love is Like a Train included a nice jam, not extended but still nice…Other highlights from the 1st Set include Rain, with great exchanges throughout, and also the I Know you Rider > Stir It Up > I Know You Rider! This was a great nod to the kings of the Greek (the Dead)….

The Second Set was full of great jams and segues and another nod to Jerome with The Way You Do The Things You Do.

I Highly recommend downloading this show. Great heavy sound, great crowd, and a great venue. As this was my last show I bid Cheese a fond farewell….you will be missed…

Subject: Thank you Ron
Thank you for getting this up so quickly. From what Ive Streamed so far it sounds great and takes me right back.

Peace and love to all the cheese heads out there!

I think the # on the second Set is a little backup from one of the members of the biscuits!

Notes

This is the first pull with the Milabs - FOB-DFC about 30 feet from the stage.
