Subject: Talking to Martin
I guess I am very lucky then. I caught the 10.13.07 show (taped & uploaded at this site - search on u22utoo) and then caught him again on 10.15.07 (recorded, but not good and not uploaded here). After the 10.15 show, I took his daughter a bandaid and met Mr. Sexton on the steps of his tour bus. He said he didn't normally talk after a show, but had some days off, so we talked for about 10 minutes. His voice was real rough after and I can see why he rests it. I told him I love the song Wasted and would love to hear him play it someday - I am sure that had nothing to do with it showing up in his set list for this show, but hey, I can think whatever I want! Thanks for the recording - I hope to pull a good recording of the 10.21.08 show in Tucson next week and will share if it turns out - using a Zoom H2.....

Subject: Guitar...WOW! Review...LONNGG...
I was very impressed overall with the show and the uplaod. Recording quality is very good...THANK YOU! Also, I'm sure I've never heard Martin play a better guitar. This has become my number 2 show available here on Archive. I'll tell you he was ON THAT SH!@ this night! Vocals were tight, natural and smooth and so was the set list.....easy five star show!

I actually got the opportunity to meet Martin after his Indy show last winter. That night, I found out that he doesn't say a word all night after a show to let his voice heal from his performance! You'd figure someone with a gift like his would have to give it extra special treatment to last out these tours...huh?

He even had an interpreter there for me, but I was happy to find he was so expressive, we were actually able to communicate w/o her. After several minutes pass, with me doing all the talking, I saw it as a prime chance to 'geek out' and let him know how much I love his voice and music.

I of course, made a crazy uncool fsn out of myself but all the while he was extremely gracious and appreciative... He shook my hand, hugged my fiance and offered us both waters from his little fridge there backstage. I wasn't at all surprised yo see he was so so receptive and kind, as I would basically expect as much from him. I was/am very thankful and appreciative of his time that night, and will never forget it.

Peace, be good and DL THIS SHOW! :) TerrapinBrad

Subject: Great Show!!!!!
Ive seen a few shows over the years, and this one is right up there with the best solo shows Ive seen or heard.
Sexton's voice is just about perfect and his guitar playin is exceptional. The mix was great and this recording is sweet.
Words cant explain the last half of this show. Just download it and listen yourself.
