Notes
Signal Hill covered Beware of Safety's song Kaura at the very end. It rocked!

I just reviewed the Caspian set of this amazing evening at a venue in L.A. I like that set a lot and would recomend it to anyone who likes "post-rock" music like Mogwai.
This set is very good as well. If I had to mention a sonic analogy it would be the classic Pat Methany New Quartet (my ears only. I have no idea if these players know who he is. Just a point of reference for the reader)
Really open-aired jazzy instrumental music, pretty well recorded and played beautifully and with great passion.
I hope some of these folks are still playing!!
A 2014 revision for anyone who might be paying attention:
These guys, or at least some of them, are still playing, and have turned out a recent album well worth the instrumental enthusiasts time.
I have bought all that Bandcamp has to offer and have not been, even a little, disappointed.
As good a band as I have run into in 10 years at least.
Damn I'd like to be around in another 10 to plug them again.......I hope they are too!
By the way.....Stunning Clarity remains a favorite listen here.
2016 and still paying attention.
some of these players are still playing together
I am still suggesting you give this band a listen.
There is a new release as of 09/2016....perhaps the last.
Earlier material is more guitar centered. Newer music is more cinematic, though no less melodious
This wonderful show was my introduction to several bands that opened my eyes to "post rock"
Remains amazing and well worth while..
