Reviewer:stephensimple - - March 20, 2008 Subject: slippery slope this show starts out strong with a rare Wine and Roses opener and continues with some other rarities, Wash and Talk. as is often the case at this great home town venue, however, the show gradually slides into a drunken mess. still, the drunkeness does supply some funny laughs especially in the "Pete and Evan Slam Competition" during the "song" "Bump." the simplicity show returns at the end with an attempt at the crowd favorite, Drop Dead Dame, that stumbles under the collective intoxication. the first or so of this show is recommended; the inebriated ending is for fans only.
