Patched out of someone who patched out of Charlie for this show--glad I forgot my windscreens & ended up patching. Was nice to meet Charlie and Arielle, too.
Thanks for all the work you do w/ Kimock and Dead shows, Charlie! C'mon get happy :)

Sound quality is really good on this recording.
Excellent capture of Rodney - ever present throughout, but doesn't overpower the other instruments as can happen sometimes with the double bass work. Steve has a nice, robust sound from beginning to end. I'd love to hear AJ brought out sonically a little more, but overall really good.
I came to this show by way of Charlie Miller who I believe recommended this show for the Severe Tire Damage. Obviously, he knows what he is talking about - this version is one of the best I've heard during the SKB tenure. Although I think I favor the 12/8/02 version as the head of the piece is better executed, the improv on this version is outstanding. I've always been partial to how AJ performs the bass line on this work and this is no exception.
Other standouts: A lovely Five B4 Funk (listen to the crescendo around the 8:00 minute mark, as well as Steve's final solo!), an exquisite Green with great solos by both Steve and AJ which segues effortlessly in to Avalon, a lively Samba, and a really good Cowboy - Hillbillies 1-2 punch to close the show.
Only drawback is the playing on Tn'G. Steve's primary solo is a bit underplayed, but he makes up for it in Green.
This is a great candidate for a dsbd.net release!

After listening to his shows fora long time, it was really good to see my first. It was a great show and I was left wanting more. Out of the shows I have listened to, I think that this was above par for sure.
