Subject: Listened to again and again!
Subject: Listened to again and again!
After all the hoo-ha on the Kimock list, I almost didn't want to listen to this recording!
I love this show and find myself listening to it again and again. But I must admit I skip past SITMW and Tom Sawyer. Sorry folks. I'm not a Police fan and as much as I ADORE Rodney I think he should stick to his drums. But it seemed very fun for the crew who got to see them live! Unexpected treat, for sure. And the costumes, oh the costumes!
I really like Hover and how they went into You're The One. Other highlight for me on this show is Bronx - I love that song and I like how it's been evolving. And Thing One is also a beloved fav of mine.
Sweet closer with Little Wing. Thanks for the recording Rob! I love this new lineup and can't wait to catch SKB live in December!
Revised review to add:
Has Little Wing Always smoked that much?? OMG - transported to an alternate universe in that song. Steve rips it up, shreds it, tears it - just amazing. Just another reason that Kimock is my favorite guitarist alive.

this was a treat...listened to the webcast on DSBD.net and this recording does it justice! Great stuff, Rob...the unexpected transition into You're the One was great and of course the Tom Sawyer treat
Any chance you got the Burlington show Rob? anyone? I thought that was the highlight of the last week of the tour...

Damn, I missed one hell of a show! But at least I can listen to it in my own home now. Rob, you do a wonderful job with your recordings. All of them are top notch quality. And I prefer a great audience recording over an SBD anyday. Thank you Rob!
I love this show so far. Steve plays pedal steel on Thing One...sweet! Then he makes his attack on Hover with the octave divider...I love this effect. Steve uses it perfectly. The transition into You're The One is bad ass! I can't wait to hear the rest of the show!

First off this show sounds great, a great job by Rob Clarke on the recording. What can I say, I listened to the live stream from digitalsoundboard.net 10.31 & it was great. Never would have thought in a million years they would have played Tom Sayer & have Rodney sing it. This show has twists & turns, & songs played out of the usual position, like the Hillbillies II opener, which is usually a closer for example. And everything is brought to a close with a beautiful Little Wing that everyone was waiting for. 5 stars. Download this show now!
