"Skin" is a film of mythic proportions, which effortlessly tackles huge issues regarding the insanity of racism and questions the whole notion of racial identity. It touches on the science of genetics and the mysteries of religion. Based on the true story of Sandra Laing, a light-skinned, African looking girl born to two white parents in South Africa. Sandra is expelled from an all-white school after being classified as "coloured", she is later reclassified as "white", and spends her life trapped between the two societies in apartheid South Africa. This film is scheduled for production in 2007. This video is a trailer for the film.
