Subject: A diamond in the rough!!
Extremely good Zazu Pitts vehicle. Why they didn't make more Aunt Emma films (similar to The Thin Man series) is mystifying. This movie really is enjoyable & worth a look!!

Subject: Great movie
Never heard of Zazu Pitts or the director, Jean Yarbrough, but from now on I'm looking out for anything they've done. As the reporter-guy says, "Aunt Emma, you're all right."

Subject: Good, clean fun
Sweet old lady come gangsta comedy has its moment in every generation I suppose. Here it is predictable but never dull.

Subject: Great fun!
Zasu Pitts is fabulous as the small-town Aunt Emma who goes to the big city for a boxing match and is mistaken for a lady gangster. She decides to play along for some great comedic moments. I really enjoyed this.
