Reviewer:grendelschoice - - February 7, 2006 Subject: Incredible Band--New find for me Can't express how delighted I am to discover this band w/this show.
This is a wonderful blend of jazz/funk/groove that blends elements of Medeski, Martin & Wood with Soullive and even a little John McLaughlin.
The recording is impeccable and more than worth a DL, especially for the great song selection.
Will look for these guys to play live in my area and til then will explore their shows on the archive and highly urge y'all to do the same. GC
Reviewer:freakshow42 - - December 6, 2005 Subject: Nice sound, I was not at this show, but I think it's the best Special Purpose show I've heard on archive. The sound is 'A' quality, and I love the feel of the show, not as rockin' as some of the other shows I've heard from the purpose boys. Don't get me wrong, they rock out at times, but this show has a more chilled out vibe to it that I dig. If you don't know Special Purpose this would be a good show to start with.
