Subject: great jams
the sound of this recording is stellar. more than that, it's a very interesting show - john popper of blues traveler joins for the last two songs, the band covers "ripple" and gets the deadhead-heavy audience singing, and (my personal highlight) erik lawrence plays sax on "how could you". I was fortunate enough to see the band perfrom in spain earlier this year, and they offered a surprising setlist with "at this hour" and "more than she knows". great to hear that they're mixing up even more by playing "shinbone", "ripple" etc. so, thanks for this fantastic sounding recording, and thanks for the great music.
