Subject: Watch 12 year old swingers!
Like one big Scopitone, ¡¥Square Dancing¡¦ is a very colorful exploration into the world of, you guessed it, square dancing. I really liked this for some reason. Guess it was the color and the time period when this was shot. I¡¦m not really much into square dancing, but for some odd reason, that just added to the nostalgia of the piece, and was fun to watch people of all generations (though I¡¦m sure the young uns were goaded by parents to do this, you know how they are) in the ring together. Fun!

Subject: Strangely satisfying.
Perhaps only because I did this occasionally as a kid. Still, thereÂs something mesmerizing about this film. Kind of kaleidoscopic.
