Subject: Lost Weekend Live
Totally agree with the last commentator, this is a real find. The studio album is criminally underrated and this live set just proves it. Thanks to Steve Wynn/Dan Stuart for putting it out on the archive.

Subject: DANNY AND DUSTY!!!! what a find!!!
The Long Ryders, Green On Red, and The Dream Syndicate collide. i always wondered if they played a live concert while recording this album. sounds like they're havin' a lot of fun here, and a soundboard too. HOT DAMN!!! I LOVE IT!!! many thanks for the posting. i hope there are more shows of Danny and Dusty, but looking at the dates of Steve Wynns concerts available here, i don't see many opportunities for it to be so. can always wish... sure would be nice to have some Green On Red (Long Ryders too!!!) on the archives... see...i'm wishin again.
Danny & Dusty:
Steve Wynn (v, g)
Dan Stuart (v, g)
Sid Griffin (g, v)
Stephen McCarthy (g, v)
Chris Cacavas (k)
Tom Stevens (b)
Dennis Duck (d)
Comments:
Compared to previous versions this one has almost a whole additional verse in "Bend In The Road". The song still cuts as the tape runs out but continues immediately on side b after the tape flip.
And before we start the date-discussion again - this tape comes from Steve Wynn's own collection and bears the date in his handwriting.
