Subject: Another overcrowded Proud Larry's show!!!
I remember you taping this show. This room was WAY TOO OVERFILLED and it was almost impossible to move two inches. Props for bringing out your gear and taping.

The soundboard circulates for this show, and I highly recommend finding it.

STS9 have forbidden me to B&P any copies of any of the SBD's from 99-01, even in snail mail trades, which is a direct contradiction to their taping and trading policy posted on the lowdown- shocker. The soundboard is out there for the takers. Some good improv in this one.

I'll admit, this isn't the greatest tape I've ever made but lets take a look at the facts before you declare this one "not worth the blanks." First off, the bar this show was in holds about 200 people on a good night. When Sector 9 is in town they'll over sell it by around 100 people. What does a small bar oversold by that much mean? A lot of people, everywhere, and with 10' ceilings you are going to hear a significan't amount of crowd noise.

There was one rig there. Mine. Whoever this guy is slamming my tapes, you were more than welcome to bring your mics to the bar and tape, but you didn't. Nobody else did. If you want this show, this is the only tape of it you're going to find. No, its not the best sounding show you're going to find, but thats no need to just sit around and blatantly talk about how horrible my tapes sound. Give me a freaking break.

If you like older sounding STS9 shows, grab this, its a great perfomance on a sub-par sounding rig. If you are remorseful or just like to talk shit about tapes because you know nothing about what actually goes into the process of taping a live show like the other reviewer, don't bother. I don't want to hear you complaining, and neither does anybody else on this site.
