very, very good sound quality, beautiful performance. most of the first set is one long continuous jam in and out of songs that's heavy on drums/percussion. this version of 'for my peeps' with vocals really sums up the show... sts9 was really 'on' this night. i highly recommend just about all sts9's japan shows here on archive.org, especially this 3-show run in 2002.

I was at this show, and it was honestly one of the most incredible concert expereinces I have ever had. It was my first STS9 show and I did not know what to expect. The music was amazing, the vibe was unreal. The night finished off with the most amazing tokyo sunrise...
thanks for getting this up!

I'm surprised nobody's reviewed this show yet. STS9 5/24/2002 is one of my very favorite Sector 9 shows, and I have a LOT of them. Sound is beautiful, the vibe is beautiful from the first note. This has often been my show of choice to give to someone who has never heard STS9 before. Highly, oh so highly recommended. I love this one. With all my STS9 to listen to.....I keep coming back to this one. Feel the love. I'd give it six stars if I could.
