Federico MontiFederico Monti - Invierno [sub056] (August 4, 2004)

In its way, it turns tapering upward, and at last spherical. It is whitish, with an eye of blue, as bright as the sun in a clear day. In these imperceptible atmospheres it seems to move twenty degrees, and to go out as much above the horizon.

Federico Montis works are following the aesthetics of lowercase and microsound. He uses diverse sound applications and techniques to create a balance between extreme frequencies, tonal textures and clean glitches. Sometimes hidden just beneath the surface ending up in a sonic pleasure designed for the deep listening.

an awesome piece of ambient landscapes. light and profound microsounds all over carefully reasoned patterns, i recommend this to anyone looking for some fresh, neat music of the genre

Subject: Light
Yeah, this is light indeed. I like this release, it's one of Federico's best. Still the best microsound developer I know, he's got a way with these frequencies that nobody else has. Nicely done.

Subject: soulful and deep micromusic
this is just great music which reminds me of 12k records ran by taylor deupree and especially his own release "stil." which i really recommend to everyone who like microambiences with very delicate clicks and noises.

very light and summerlike microsound. a must have!

Subject: Monti's "Invierno"
Using a sonic palette of microsounds, high frequencies, ambience, and haunting drones, Federico Monti offers the listener four extraordinary cold, minimal electronic tracks. Download and let the sounds envelop you.
