Subject: Good stuff, ideal for sleeping.
Excellent, very slow, very minimal music. Be aware that it's nearly impossible to listen to this while doing nothing else. It's a work of art best enjoyed, in my opinion, while you're not totally paying attention to it--especially through the dry stretch in the early-middle of the mix. Reminds me a little of Martin Dot.

This mix does have its beautiful moments, though, which are at the beginning and end. So because it's a little unbalanced and inconsistent, four stars. But really it is great music for sleeping, maybe for painting, reading, not too much else.

Subject: Ambient Avant- garde /Experimental Mix

70+ minute mix of some truly engaging avant- garde and experimental compostions with an ambient flavor. MP3s from an eclectic set of labels makeup the playlist, including: Subsource, Autoplate, Panospna, Surfaces, Observatory On Line, Fukkgod, 8bits Rec., Earlabs, and Stasisfield. In addtion to the great variey of labels, one other definite plus is that it leads off with a beautiful and "cavernous' solo trumpet improvisation by Kozo Ikeno (http://www.stasisfield.com/releases/year03/sf-3004.html) that is a real attention grabber.
