Subject: first mention of Internet Archive in response to grete pesch call-in question from tikal guatemala at 51 min 39 seconds
Little movie about WAIS (the first Internet Publishing system) and Brewster at 20:45.
In response to a question by Grete Pesch, Brewster Kahle first mentions the organization that will become the Internet Archive.
Grete is now a university librarian in guatemala and working on how to annotate video. some people never stop!

At 1:18:00, Larry Irving, the senior administration official for telecommunications, says he's been using the Internet for less than 6 months, but he thinks it is a way cool thing. After he vamps for a while with meaningless stats, Whit Diffie interjects a clue.
At 1:20:00, Don Hoffman, one of the unsung heroes of early video efforts on the net, shows what the early real-time audio and video tools looked like. In the day, "video out" was a big old CRT, and "video in", "audio in", and "audio out" were all really expensive extras, so this was hard stuff to do.
At 1:33:59, Jun Murai asks "hey, what about us?" and Brewster Kahle answers him with an eloquent summary of the status of localization and globalization at the time.
