Subject: Rock onward and upward
Wow, what a musical pick-me-up! Regardless of the subject matter these songs have an underlying optimism and exuberance that makes ya smile. Plus, a melodic momentum that makes ya wanna move. I place this in what I call the 'shiny happy' school of art-pop with bands like Modest Mouse, Flaming Lips and Polyphonic Spree. If you like any of dem you'll love dis!
