at a first glance the music of merak19's second release on tonAtom seems to be as cryptic as the name of the release. it is called "emdtypntc" and leaves the audience wondering for a while. but soon the picture clears up: merak19 throws 1001 electronic gimmicks at you and decorates his track with the utmost detail work. but he never loses his view for structures and the red line behind it all and captures us with a sure taste for sounds and complexity.
there is always still something moving behind the scenes and there is always something more to discover.
and this is what this release wants to invite you to. those of you who like it a bit more electronic but just don't like those rumblebox sounds might find this the right one for them.
