I live in Charlotte, NC, where I hear Mr. Constanten is organist at a church. I've seen him trudging home from the Friendly Mart up on 7th street... dressed in a black pin-stripe suit, White hair blowing in the breeze. About a day or so before my lady and I struck out for the Ratdog show in Athens and Suwannee Springfest in Live Oak, we saw TC waiting for a bus, just down the road from where we live. He plays gigs around town as a guest performer, sometimes, and it is always a delight to hear his work, and I shall be downloading this performance and listening to it this weekend. But: buy his albums. Support the artists you download. If you are going to live outside the law you must be better than the law.

Subject: Terrapin Flyer

The name of this Chicago based band is Terrapin Flyer and you can find other soundboard copies of shows of this band on the archive with both Tom Constanten and Melvin Seals by searching "Terrapin Flyer," "Melvin Seals," or "Tom Constanten."

Subject: this is it people!!!

this show right here just blazes...tc and the boys take this one back...cannot say how grate this sounds...both playing and singing are simply grate...the jams are sickly similar to that of the late 60's and tc is just the freaking man anyway...i am glad i found this!!!

But that is All Along the Watchtower, not Franklin's.

Still, very interesting. Thanks

Notes

~20 sec dropout towards the begining of Bertha
