Subject: NICE
This recording definitely works!! The drumming comes through nice and clear, as do the guitars and vocals. Not perfect, but it has volume and character. Nice show! Thanks.

i hear no muffled sound and the whooshing sound could be from the wind i believe this is an outside show im only on 64k m3u stream its an easy fix if you equalize the sound besides im sure it was stellar in person so dont complain you got this show for free i dig this band alot combines a lil punk with a lil of my fav band iron maiden with lots of soul they should be up and coming and like need 200 shows a yr peace

I agree with rainydaybloke. The most frustrating part of this is that it almost comes through clearly, all the instrumentation is audible, and the audience is not too distracting, but the sound just keeps whooshing. It's a notch above the prior year's show, but not by much. Fortunately plenty of folks were probably taping, so I'm holding out for another source.

The sound quality of the concert is pretty darn good. Obviously if you download the 64 kbs mp3 files, they're gonna be bad, but the flac and the VBR mp3s are fine.

Ted Leo for President!

Subject: Warning
Don't make the mistake of downloading this show based on previous 5 star reviews unless you are a die-hard fan. Try a few mp3s first.

Was this an outdoor show during a hurricane? Was the mic in a paper bag in Matt's pocket? I was hoping for the muffled sound to improve after a few songs but no such luck. After playing disc 1 I decided to cut my losses and not bother downloading the second one.

Matt, I understand there are limitations to audience recording but a description of the conditions would have been helpful. Thanks anyway for your efforts in uploading another Ted Leo show.

Really nice work, Matt. Thanks for sharing.

(and Kathryn got the song list exactly right, although I don't know the exact title of d2t26 either)

best,

Brad
