What a fun little short.
If you're looking for a high-end, professionally shot movie short than you are out of luck with Thexus: The Last Man. I read the description the author gave and this is clearly an uber-cheap experimental film (translation: a group of friend trying to tell a story with only a few hours of shooting and no script). There are certainly some weak parts. What's with all the walking? And, there are some fun parts. Elwood of the Jungle. Veldar having his testicles removed.
As a fan of short films, I am predisposed to like everything I watch. This film, as simple as it may be, could have been a very interesting and charming film if there had been a script and more than a few hours of filming time. My suggestion to the director is to write out a 10-15 page screenplay and go film it. Then I think you might have a winner. Also, use a better camera. This was clearly the work of a camcorder.
Watch it, enjoy it, but don't hate it. With no money, no script and no time, its not too bad at all.
