Subject: Good songs - bad recording
This one suffers from the same problem as the Nov. 22 State Theater show - the recording is way over-saturated (recorded too loudly). The wave forms are severely clipped and the result is a harsh sound.

Better luck next time, I guess...

Rusty: Dude, I know the Recher has bad acoutics but *trust me*, the recording is WAY over-saturated. I took the files and ran 'em thru Adobe Audition ($3,000 software) and the files are clipped to Hell. It has NOTHING to do with the venue, the taper simply pushed his levels too much. If he had backed down 6db or so it would have sounded much better. And, there is nothing you can do to correct it, once you've blown past 0 dbfs it's over with...

Subject: It's the band, not the recording
I just can't understand why those idiots that blabber away while the band is jamming even bother showing up at a show where the band is jamming. Their inane babbling ruins a great show for us heads that want the jams...the babblers under the mics should just go to a disco to rap thier crap.

To the Student of Life: go out a find one; you need a life. Your sophomoric whining bores me. Find a sensitivity group that can deal with your depression. You preachy butt-heads just have got to get over it. Baltimore is the best place in the world for this band to stretch out. Their crowd is right there and rowdy - I would not expect less from the hometown crowd. Just get into it, Baltimore is New York with an attitude: we expect you NY wimps to learn how to jam!

The Recher Theatre sucks as a taper venue. Unless the band overcomes the crappy acoustics the show sucks. In this case: TLL just flat out rocks with their jam base despite the crappy venue. I have been there enough times to make a informed appraisal .

Don't listen to the elitist wangers that pick on the taping; those taping folks are working with what is available.

Can I give 10 stars
