Ulf Holbrook, aka Ulv, is one our compatriots from Norway, who by having relatives from very near to where Jon 7 lives, proves how small a world it is indeed. The tracks on "Lightning Sunbath" were made during a bus ride along the Norwegian coast, using sounds recorded from around Ulv on the bus which were manipulated and processed in real-time.
These are great stretched and distorted sounds, loud and crunchy on one track, and considerable more sedate on the other. We here at TTHQ consider this recording a perfect example of what the negative-numbered Timetheory releases are all about.
