The third installment of the "Theory" series from Simple Painter takes the theory concept farther out to explore the most popular conspiracy theories of our day. The tracks are given a feeling that suits the mystical and mysterious overtones of the track titles. The artwork blends several of these ideas into a sort of map connecting all things in a unique web of speculation. As with other Simple Painter albums the sound is a chunky sort of drone like a landscape with occasional features appearing at interesting intervals.
It's not a long stretch from what we have come to expect, but SP's style takes form as it goes and leaves behind its footprint for all to listen and enjoy.
