Serocell offered Time Theory this fine album some time ago, a follow-up to "Liquid Acid" which was quite well received and enjoyed last year. This release has the same clean digital sound that accompanies many a Serocell release, but this time the sounds are deep, bassy and throbbing. At first it may seem that the volume is too low, but when you first hear the rattling and shaking of your speakers, you'll know what's happening. The tracks on this release give the air and the walls a deep digital massage, with a very soothing effect. It's ambient music for the lower reaches of the frequency spectrum, like a very pitched down form of new age. It's quite appropriate for the age we live in in fact. A skyscape in which the clouds are beneath us rather than above.
