"Song Test" comes from Desolation Wilderness, a young musician from Olympia, Washingon, USA, who's been experimenting with the electronic means of sonic expression for almost four years now.
The structure of all 5 tracks from this EP seems to be built on two levels: the minimal, cold and distant notes in the foreground vs. lots of interesting and important quiet sounds in the background.
Just as the title says: it's full of unfinished melodies and emotional warm synths which stop abruptly from time to time to give you an insight to what is hidden 'under the surface'.
Feels as if the listener was pushed to cross the border of artificial emotions to discover the wealth of the reality somewhere deep or in a distance.
Of course this is only our subjective interpretation of this music, still there are lots of other traces waiting for you to follow in these works...
This EP sounds best on a rainy night and with the headphones on, so wait for the right moment, grab your headphones and listen!
