The Range Busters, If You've Seen One Film, You've...
Not a bad western, just typical. I prefer the Range Busters with Ray Corrigan - cowboy sized, cowboy voiced - rather than with Pint-sized, squeaky voiced David Clarke. John "Dusty" King is a cowboy with a good voice. Max Terhune, who rounds out this trio, is the comic relief, and his character begins to wear thin after seeing a number of "Range Buster" movies. Evelyn Finley, an attractive enough "love interest" had the advantage of being a top-notch horsewoman, who doubled in the riding scenes by many famous actresses, performed at rodeos and horse shows and was a consultant on many films in which horses and riding were a part. Charles King is good as the double-dealing vigilante/bad guy. The rest of the cast are all okay. The script is nothing special - just a structure to hang some riding, fighting and shooting on.
