Subject: In the valley of the gryffins
In a faraway place where the kids have no nipples, a kid wonders if since he's afraid of diving, whether the kids will pick on him. Soon, in a school outing, his fears are realized when the kids go to the lake! His teacher encourages him though, to try something new! Maybe you'll like it! The kid DOES try it, and discovers that he likes it! So the moral! Don't be afraid to try it, you may like it!

The above can also be said for Life Cereal, gay sex and heroin.

Subject: They're not laughing with you, they're laughing at you.
An interesting filmstrip from the fifties about not being afraid to try new things. The film reinforces the orderly world educators wanted in the fifties by making even diving an organized activity. What would have been wrong with just having the kids swim, dive, eat or whatever they felt like? Of course, we must have order.

Pete's friend Ron seems to bounce from being supportive of Pete to being rather mean. One minute he's asking whether Pete is chicken, and the next hes being encouraging.

A wonderful addition to the archives. More filmstrips, please!
