Subject: yeah!!!
This is a pretty good recording, and captures the gig quite well (obviously, without the films i beleive it accompanied one can only roughly stab at what the whole live experience was like). Okay, there are some problems- cravens high end cymbals drown out the subtleties somewhat, but where the simplistic strings are recorded its very pretty, and you soon get over the minor flaws. obviously the patti smith poetry helps in that its her, but stands on its own as an intense collaboration between the two parties. That or its a load of nonsense, i cant quite decide. either way this is essential for any silver mountain projects fan.
NOTE: In track 3 of CD1 (0min37 - 1min01), there's a gap of silence.
