Subject: awesome
this is probably the most well-know SP show and the first show a lot of people ever heard (myself included). There's a reason though--it's a really nice recording and an AWESOME show. Phenomenal versions of pretty much every song. Standouts are Zero, Fuck You, Porcelina, 1979, Ruby, By Starlight (!!), TAFH, and Silverfuck. the only slightly disappointing part of the show is that the FM>DAT>CDR version sounds slightly better imo

Subject: Powerful!
Listening to the show right now, and it is finally making me, so to say, "get the point" the Smashing Pumpkins' music. Band in top shape all the way through. pierremaurice may have a point about Billy's voice, but the roughness of it actually lends further weight to the heavy songs, which RIP THINGS APART ("Fuck You"! "Zero"! "Bullet With Butterfly Wings!"). Highly recommended.

Subject: Exemplary show
The combination of great quality, setlist and performance make this one of the best live Pumpkins shows out there.

Subject: fantastic!
This is a fantastic performance and recording. It kills me that I had to sell my ticket to the show, but this is a great consolation prize.

Subject: Great performance
One of their best performances ever. Probably the most famous one. Maybe Billy's voice isn't as good as it was in other pumpkins eras (and as it is now), but those concerts were very intense and powerful, and the band was very inspired. Personally these are the best executions ever of By Starlight, Muzzle and BWBW. Great jam in Silverfuck, too. This recording is a must-have, not only for fans but for everyone.
This is sourced from the GM Place commercial bootleg. Proper EAC rip with log and cue files.
