Nice to hear acoustic SP. Great sound. Not perfect but well worth the listen.

Subject: Cool acoustic pumpkins
From the notes, this sounds like a very cool 'secret' show. Acoustic smashing pumpkins is amazing. The quality of the audio is slightly 'boomy' but that might have to do with the fact that the show was inside a historic castle. You can hear all the instruments really well and the levels are perfect and not overpowering. The crowd is a little loud when they clap between songs but they are dead silent during the music. Very cool unique show to have on the archive, and i'm happy to see the taper allowed the mp3's to be made for streaming hungry people like me. So happy to see SP on archive.org! Here's to seeing where it will all go from here..

Notes

This was a secret acoustic show for about 150 people. Tickets were available
via competitions on the web sites of Warner Records Germany and RBB Radio
Eins.
The right microphone was pointed to the PA speaker, the left microphone was
pointed to the stage and therefore picked up less sound than the right mic. I
have mixed the right channel into the left channel to compensate for that.
This is the 16-bit version of this recording.
