notes:
This seed is seamless between discs 1 and 2, however the first minute or so of the intro music is cut. The processing done includes a high pass filter at 75hz for -2db with the mid, and a -0.5db high pass filter at 75hz in the right channel's side component. The kick drum seemed to do funny things with the M/S decoding and that appeared to resolve most of it. I made one noticeable level adjustment during the show, about 12 minutes in and I've amplified the affected section approximately +2db to balance with the rest of the show. This was an enforced "no stands" show, and this was a substitute that I was able to get in under the radar after my bogen was caught.

This recording is my way of giving a big, big thank you to two groups of people; The guy who tracked me down in line after I was shot down at the gate (cause the contract rider said no audio/video/camera regardless of SP's published policy) to tell me to ask again after the staff had been informed of the change. Second, to the people in the row in front of me who moved to the sides so the mic had a clear view of both stacks without me asking. I really appreciate it, without the actions of either, this wouldn't have turned out as well as it did. I hope this finds its way to you.

and thanks for sharing with us.
The sound was great and i was hoping someone was getting it.
I think it's best recording i've heard.
may have been the best ever Pumpkins show i've seen

Notes

One of the neat things about midside recordings is you can generally dry them up and remove some hall boom if your playback system will allow you to mix channels (and you find it too boomy/bassy). Sometimes while listening to this one, I find myself occasionally mixing the two channels together by 15%. Seems to tighten up the vocals and drums, but leaves the bass and guitar out to the sides a bit more at the cost of minor degradation of the stereo image. I didn't do the mix that way since it's not everyones preference, but its easy enough to accomplish on playback. Read up on midside recording for an explanation as to why this works if you are interested.
