In The News: The siege of the Palestinian refugee city outside of Tripoli Lebanon flares up again. Details.

Pakistan is having problems. No gatherings of more than five (5) people due to demonstrations about the removal of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court who ruled, among other things, that Pakistan has no right to send troops into the Autonomous Tribal Area, Waziristan...

Jack Kevorkian, 'Doctor Death' is to be released from prison today.

The Turkish troop buildup on the Iraqi/Kurd border continues unabated. More.

It's gotta tell you something about 'public schools' - The national spelling bee champion is a home-schooled boy from Danville California. All of the winners for the last decade or so have been home-schooled.

Subject: Ignorance is bliss...
I admit to not having listened to this podcast - but do I need to, when the very banner line declares that it is based on ignorance? Pakistan's borders were not created by the British - the partition of India occurred AFTER the Indians were granted independence by the British, and was carried out under Mahatma Gandhi. Who may have been played by Ben Kinglsey, but wasn't a Brit.
