Expect to see some truly homophobic behavior from at least the Republicans who DON'T play footsie in airport bathroom stalls... The Cloture vote is due today or they WILL go into overtime The non-aligned nations meeting in Egypt has been told by North Korea that there WILL BE NO OF EXPECTATION OF RESUMPTION of the six party talks and the US is seeking a confrontation. There have also been off-the-camera meetings between India and Pakistan about mutual-interest terrorism issues. I wouldn't suppose it made them any more productive - Capitol Hill was locked down for a couple of hours yesterday due to a high speed chase with shots fired. No word what it was about... Perhaps an unemployed defense industry lobbyist who had been working the F-22 contract robbed a 7-11. The Senate confirmed ex-astronaut Bolden to head NASA yesterday and the Space Shuttle Endeavour FINALLY got off the ground for it's trip to the International Space Station with parts and accessories. There will be 13 astronauts on board the ISS... a new record. The fighting in Helmand province Afghanistan is a go-it-alone affair for the US and NATO with more casualties as the Afghani government offers no more troops to support the offensive and the ones in the field are getting killed. You'd think we've worn out our welcome, if we ever actually had one. Meanwhile, the US backpedals...
