Israeli media reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu feared that Muslim states were planning on using the occasion to discuss Israel’s nuclear arsenal. Representative Bart Stupak, who hung up the Heath Care reform bill over anti-abortion issues will not run again in Michigan

Rep. Bart Stupak of Michigan, the embattled leader of the Democrats' anti-abortion forces during the health care debate, is expected to announce Friday he will not run for re-election. Stupak told the Associated Press the abortion controversy was not a major factor in his decision. He is to speak at a press conference later Friday in Marquette, Michigan.
