Digi Hartatak2012 (June 29, 2008)

The end is coming and you better get your jam on. I started this song back Saturday, December 11, 2004, at 6:11:03 PM. It was supposed to be the beat for the French Pimp's debut rap but it was never started. It sat on the drive as a couple of bars of audio and some muted MIDI tracks for awhile then I added some guitar several months back and decided it was time to finish it. It would have been called "Chino's Song" but after the apocalyptical samples I changed the name. The samples are from items here on the archive but after 25 minutes searching I can only find one... http://www.archive.org/details/MovieTra1950_2 the other one is scarier.

Was the movie on here I used and the horn batman like sample is from the doom video.

About the horn samples, the guitars and keyboard bass.
Once again you have a very nice rythmn section groove going on.

It's a bit short of melody and goes on a bit too long for me.

A 3.5 really.

This is a hoot.
I'm not real crazy about the squeeky squeely guitar sounds
that start up around 35 seconds in.
But then later I love the sound of the main guitar riffs.
Also like the keyboard bass like sounds.
The doomsday toll at the beginning is nice.
The movie trailer narration is fun.
And then I really like the orchestral horns sample than comes
in around 4:16, it sounds very familiar to me. I swear I've heard
that before in it's original context, whatever that would be.

And that quote up in the title is the biggest hoot about this whole thing.

Sharpen up your obsidian axes! Paint your prisoners blue. Its time to appease the guitar gods.

Excellent.
