Subject: Seekers of sweetness and light need to look elsewhere.
The piece starts out with a soft, deep drone like the hum/roar of distant engines - barely audible and quick to fade from consciousness. The music is so quiet that you really must have headphones on or turn it up a bit to hear the subtle elements that glide past your ears in blocks of slow moving, menacing sound. Perhaps this is the dominant idea of the title. Kafkaesque: "marked by surreal distortion and often a sense of impending danger". Make no mistake - this is a very dark piece. It never really changes from the mood established in the first few minutes, but then maybe it doesn't need to. A sense of a dark, foreboding place is established and carried through from beginning to end. 4 stars for perfect consistency and execution.

Subject: Relaxed stuff
This is more relaxing and less dark than most drone pieces. Good work and excellent music for reading, studying, playing puzzle games and so on. Nice!
