The first set seems to lack the usual energy, the guys seem to be joking around a bit too much. Ringo is usually rollicking but here it is subdued. At least the Lansing crowd booed when Bayliss gave his Notre Dame shout out! Then he brags about Ty Willingham. We know how that worked out. But I digress.
Things definitely pick up in the 2nd set, starting with Spinal Shaft. Takin it to Church is fun, then 2x totally rocks. I always love a good JaJunk.

this show is one of UM's best from 2003, from start to finish. The Stewart out of FF is a landmark set of improvisation. A section of this jam was later turned into a portion of Bridgelss. From the Tribute to taking it to Church to the monstrous JaJunk, they meant business.
Sound Quality is excellent as well, another tasty matrix.
